In May 2026, New York–based art and technology practice SurR.Ai publicly launched SurR: The System of Temporal Law - a 62-second audiovisual artwork that immediately positioned itself outside the conventional categories of NFT art, AI art, and experimental video art.

At the core of SurR: The System of Temporal Law lies an unexpected dialogue between two radically different thinkers:
Velimir Khlebnikov (1885–1922) - the Russian Futurist poet, playwright, and mathematical mystic who spent his life searching for what he called the “laws of time.”
And:
Satoshi Nakamoto - the pseudonymous architect of Bitcoin, whose 2008 whitepaper, Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System, introduced a cryptographic framework where truth emerges not from institutions, but from distributed consensus.
